Each year Bamberg County School District receives Title I federal funds for eligible schools. The schools in our district that receive those funds are Richard Carroll Elementary, Denmark Olar Elementary, Bamberg Ehrhardt Middle, Denmark Olar Middle, and Denmark Olar High School. Of these funds 1% must be spent on parent/family involvement. We want to get feedback from parents about how you think that money should be spent. Children who are four years old on/or before September 1, 2023 will be eligible for the 4K program, pending screening. Children who are five years old on/or before September 1, 2023 MUST be enrolled in a five-year-old program. Read the rest of the article for more details.

Due to current weather advisories, the football game scheduled for Thursday has been rescheduled for Saturday at 2 pm in Lewisville. For this reason, Denmark-Olar schools will not dismiss early on Thursday. We will continue to monitor weather closely and keep you informed of any other changes.
